Converging roads
Several routes meet at Mubi, linking it with the rest of Adamawa, with Borno to the north and with Cameroon, and they give the map its clear radiating structure.

La carte
Mubi Map Poster & Print
Mubi is a town in the north of Adamawa State, close to Nigeria's border with Cameroon and to the Mandara Mountains, whose rocky hills rise in the surrounding country. On a map the town forms a compact core with streets that loosen as they spread outward, and main roads leading away toward other towns in the region and to border crossings.
It has long been a trading centre for the area, with a large market that draws farmers and traders from both sides of the border. Mubi is also a university town, home to Adamawa State University and the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, which bring students from across north-eastern Nigeria.
A Mubi map poster captures the town's plan simply: the densest streets at the centre, residential areas thinning toward the edges, the roads reaching out across the plain, and the campuses as larger open plots. The minimal style suits a place better known to those who live there than to outsiders, and it gives the town a quiet dignity on the wall.

Campus plots
The university and polytechnic occupy wider grounds whose internal roads and buildings form a looser pattern than the tight streets of the town.
Hills nearby
The Mandara Mountains rise not far from the town, and the terrain shapes where roads run and where the built-up area stops.
