Nada Map Poster & Print
Nada is the urban centre of Danzhou, a large municipality on the northwestern side of Hainan Island. Seen from above, the town sits inland on gently rolling land, with the Gulf of Tonkin coast some distance to the west. The streets form a loose grid around a central district, and around them the map turns into a mosaic of fields, water bodies and plantation land.
Danzhou has a long literary association: the Song dynasty poet Su Shi spent part of his exile in this area, and his memory is still honoured locally. The region is also known for tropical agriculture, especially rubber. These facts rarely show on a street map, but the balance of town and green land around it hints at an economy tied to the soil.
A Nada map poster works as a portrait of a smaller Hainan city, far from the resort beaches of the south. The black and white rendering shows how the centre gathers into a denser core, while roads branch out toward villages and the coast. It is a calm, open composition, suited to anyone with roots in Danzhou or memories of island life.

Water in the landscape
Rivers, ponds and reservoirs appear around the town, their irregular shapes giving the map texture against the more regular street pattern.
Roads toward the coast
Main routes lead west and north toward the shore and the rest of Hainan, drawing long lines that connect the town with the island.
