Naduvannūr Map Poster & Print
Naduvannūr lies in northern Kerala, inland from the Malabar coast. Like much of rural Kerala it has no sharp edge between town and village: houses line the roads and spread across the higher ground, while lower land between them follows streams and fields. The map shows a network more than a centre, with lanes branching outward in every direction.
The landscape here is gently rolling, and roads tend to follow the drier ground rather than cross the wetter valleys. Small junctions become local centres with shops and bus stops, and lanes run off them toward homes set in their own garden plots. It is a pattern shaped by rainfall, terrain and generations of family land rather than by formal planning.
A Naduvannūr map poster shows that dispersed, organic structure in a way that photographs rarely can. Instead of blocks there are threads: winding main roads, fine branching lanes and the open gaps where fields and water lie. It is an understated image, and for anyone with family in Malabar it is also unmistakably home.

Branching lanes
From each road, narrow lanes split off repeatedly toward individual homes, creating a fine, tree-like pattern that fills the space between the main routes.
Open lowlands
Between the settled strips, lower ground used for fields and streams stays largely empty on the map, giving the composition quiet, open bands.

Pourquoi Naduvannūr
Une carte qui a du sens
Many people from Kerala live far from the place they call home, in Gulf cities, in other Indian states or overseas. A map of Naduvannūr keeps the roads to the family house visible on a wall, even from thousands of kilometres away.
Add a family name, a house name or a meaningful date to the title and subtitle, and keep or edit the coordinates line. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, let the same map suit a modern flat or a traditional home.
