Nagapattinam Map Poster & Print
Nagapattinam lies on the Coromandel Coast of Tamil Nadu, at the seaward edge of the Kaveri delta. From above, the map is defined by the long straight line of the Bay of Bengal shore to the east and by the river mouths and channels that cut through the flat land toward the sea.
The town grew around its harbour, which served as an important port for centuries and connected the region with Southeast Asia. Older streets cluster near the river mouth and port, while newer neighbourhoods extend inland along roads and rail lines. Salt pans, paddy fields and waterways surround the built-up area.
Nagapattinam sits between two major pilgrimage places: the dargah at Nagore to the north and the basilica at Velankanni to the south. The coast was badly hit by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. A Nagapattinam map poster shows the steady rhythm of this shoreline and the delta water that shapes the town.

Pourquoi Nagapattinam
Une carte qui a du sens
For people from the delta, pilgrims who came through on the way to Nagore or Velankanni, or anyone tied to the coast, this map is a quiet record of home and sea. The long shoreline gives it a calm composition.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family date, and pick from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to match the space.
