Yangtze frontage
The river curves through the frame as a wide, smooth band, and the town's main streets follow its bank, giving the whole map a strong horizontal flow.

La carte
Nanxi Map Poster & Print
Nanxi is a district of Yibin in southern Sichuan, set along the Yangtze a short distance downstream from where the Min and Jinsha rivers meet. On a map the town follows the river closely, with streets lined up parallel to the water and hills rising behind them, so that the built-up area forms a long, narrow band rather than a compact circle.
Yibin is often described as the first city on the Yangtze, since the river takes that name at the confluence. Nanxi shares that setting on a smaller scale, with an older riverfront core and newer blocks added along the banks as the area has expanded. The terrain around it is green and folded, with farmland and wooded slopes between the valleys.
A Nanxi map poster centres on the river itself. The broad sweep of the Yangtze becomes the strongest shape in the frame, with streets and crossings arranged along it. It is a fitting image for anyone connected to this stretch of Sichuan, where daily life has long been organised around the water.

River crossings
Crossings over the Yangtze draw short, firm lines across the water, tying the riverfront town to the land and roads on the opposite bank.
Hills behind the town
Away from the river the land rises into low, rounded hills, where roads twist and settlement thins into fields and scattered villages.

Pourquoi Nanxi
Une carte qui a du sens
Nanxi is rarely seen on printed maps, which makes a poster of it especially personal for people who grew up along this part of the Yangtze or have family there. The clean river shape works well above a desk or in a living room.
Personalise the title in your own words, add a subtitle and edit the coordinates line, then choose from five styles. A free 900 px watermarked preview shows how it will look before you buy the $9 HD files.
