Market core
A tight cluster of streets at the centre forms the old commercial heart. It stands out clearly against the more open residential and agricultural land around it.

Naraingarh Map Poster & Print
Naraingarh is a town in Ambala district, Haryana, close to where the flat plains of the north meet the first ridges of the Shivalik hills. From above the town has a compact centre of close-set streets and a market area, surrounded by housing and then by open farmland in regular plots.
The terrain changes quickly nearby. To the north and east the land rises toward the Morni hills, and seasonal streams coming down from them cross the plain in wide, braided beds that are dry for much of the year. Roads between Naraingarh and the surrounding towns and villages follow these contours, straight on the plain and winding as they approach the slopes.
A Naraingarh map poster shows that meeting of two landscapes: a dense town core, the grid of fields on the plain, and the first folds of hills on the horizon. For a place of its size the map has a pleasing sense of depth, since the hills give it a natural backdrop that many plains towns lack.

Seasonal stream beds
Wide, braided channels coming off the hills cross the plain. They add broad pale shapes that give the map texture and movement.
Shivalik foothills
The first ridges of the Shivaliks rise nearby, bringing winding roads and irregular terrain to one side of an otherwise flat composition.
