Nedumbassery Map Poster & Print
Seen from above, Nedumbassery is defined by one straight line. The runway of Cochin International Airport runs across a landscape that is otherwise soft and irregular, a patchwork of coconut groves, small fields and lanes that curve between house plots. On a black-and-white print that single hard stroke gives the composition its spine, while the surrounding road network fills in around it like fine handwriting.
The airport is the reason most people know the name. In 2015 it became the first airport in the world to run entirely on solar power, and its panel fields appear on detailed maps as neat rectangular blocks near the airfield. Beyond the perimeter, the panchayat keeps a rural texture, with temples, schools and junctions spread along roads that link it to Angamaly and Aluva.
A Nedumbassery map poster works well for anyone whose travel story began or ended here, whether that means a first flight abroad, a return home to Kerala or years of working at the airport. The Periyar river flows close by, and a wider frame can include its bends alongside the runway, joining the old geography of central Kerala with its newest point of arrival.

Solar fields
Rows of photovoltaic arrays near the airfield show as crisp rectangles, a visual record of the project that made this the first airport in the world powered fully by the sun.
Village lanes
Away from the airport, narrow roads bend around homesteads, coconut groves and wet paddy fields, giving the outer parts of the print a looser, organic texture.
