University grounds
The campus spreads across the settlement in clusters of halls, faculties and residences linked by short roads. Together they form the densest part of the map.

La carte
Njala Map Poster & Print
Njala lies in the Moyamba District of Sierra Leone's Southern Province, in rolling country of farmland, bush and riverside forest. It is best known as the home of Njala University, which began in the 1960s as an agricultural college. On a map the settlement is loose and green, a scatter of campus buildings, staff housing and village lanes rather than a dense urban grid.
The river shapes the town's outline. Water curves along the edge of town, and the tracks to fields and research plots keep to the gentler ground above it. A Njala map poster suits anyone who studied or taught there, because it shows the true scale of the place: a small network of roads threading through open land and trees.
Farming shapes the wider view. Around the campus, experimental fields, plantations and smallholdings break the land into irregular patches, and footpaths link outlying villages to the main road. It is a map of working countryside with an institution at its centre, and the sparse linework leaves plenty of white space on the sheet.

Taia River
The river winds past the town, and its curves stand out clearly against the sparse road network of Njala and the countryside around it.
Farm plots
Fields and research plots surround the campus in irregular shapes, a reminder that Njala has long been tied to the study and practice of farming.

Pourquoi Njala
Une carte qui a du sens
Graduates often want something that marks their years at Njala, whether they now live in Sierra Leone or far from it. You can put your faculty or graduation year in the title, use the subtitle for a name, and keep or edit the coordinates line.
With so much open land, lighter styles such as Paper or Sand work well, while Noir makes the river and roads stand out sharply. Classic black & white and Blueprint are the other two options. Matte printed posters ship from print partners in more than 30 countries.
