Nova Ipixuna Map Poster & Print
Nova Ipixuna is a municipality in the southeast of Pará, in the Brazilian Amazon, in the region around the city of Marabá. Like many towns in this part of the state, it grew recently along roads opened into the forest, and from above the urban area shows a simple, regular plan of straight streets laid out on fairly open ground.
Around the town the landscape is a mosaic: pasture and cleared land, patches of remaining forest and streams winding through low country toward the Tocantins basin. The contrast between the neat urban grid and the irregular, branching natural lines around it is the defining feature of the area on a map, and it tells the story of recent settlement.
A Nova Ipixuna map poster is a portrait of a place that is still taking shape. The streets are few and orderly, the surrounding roads long and straight, and the waterways draw the only curves on the page. In a minimalist black-and-white style, that combination reads cleanly and gives a quiet dignity to a town rarely seen in print.

Long rural roads
Straight roads extend from the town into the countryside, connecting farms and settlements and giving the map strong lines that reach toward the edges of the frame.
Rivers and streams
Small waterways wind through the surrounding land, adding soft, branching curves that contrast with the geometric streets of the urban area and its straight approach roads.
