Nova Olinda Map Poster & Print
Nova Olinda lies in the Cariri region of Ceará, near the Chapada do Araripe, a vast flat-topped plateau that shapes the landscape of the south of the state. The town's map is compact: a small grid of streets around the centre, a few main roads leading out, and then open semi-arid land with fields, scrub and seasonal watercourses.
Despite its size, Nova Olinda is known well beyond the region. The Fundação Casa Grande, a cultural foundation run largely by young people, has made the town a reference for community-led culture, and the leather craftsman Espedito Seleiro works here in a tradition rooted in the sertão. On paper, the town appears as a small, orderly cluster within a very wide landscape.
A Nova Olinda map poster is meaningful for families from the town, for visitors who came for the Casa Grande or the leather work, and for anyone drawn to the Cariri. The design keeps it simple: the town's streets, the roads toward neighbouring municipalities and the open space of the sertão around them.

Araripe setting
The Chapada do Araripe rises to the south, and the open ground between it and the town gives this part of the Cariri its long, level horizons.
Sertão roads
Roads leave the town across semi-arid land, drawing long clean lines through the open space and connecting Nova Olinda to the rest of the Cariri.

Pourquoi Nova Olinda
Une carte qui a du sens
Nova Olinda shows that a small town can matter far beyond its size. A map poster of its streets is a quiet tribute for those who were born here, took part in the foundation's work or simply grew attached to the Cariri.
Choose your own title and subtitle, perhaps a family name or a year, and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits the warm light and dry tones of the sertão.
