Noyabrsk Map Poster & Print
Noyabrsk lies in the south of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, deep in the West Siberian lowland. From above it is clearly a planned city: wide, straight avenues and large rectangular microdistricts set down within a landscape of forest, bog and countless small lakes. The contrast between the orderly grid and the scattered, irregular water around it defines the map.
The city grew from the 1970s onward as a base for oil and gas development, and the fields around it remain central to its economy. Roads and a railway leave the city in several directions toward production sites and other northern towns, cutting long straight lines through the taiga. Winters are long and severe, and the layout reflects practical planning for that climate.
In black and white the pattern becomes surprisingly graphic, a rectilinear core surrounded by an almost abstract field of lakes. A Noyabrsk map poster suits anyone who has lived and worked in the north and wants a reminder of a city that was built deliberately, block by block, in difficult terrain.

Roads into taiga
Straight roads and a railway leave the city across forested land, long lines that connect Noyabrsk to the oil and gas fields and to other northern settlements.

Pourquoi Noyabrsk
Une carte qui a du sens
Many people came to Noyabrsk to work for a few years and stayed for decades, and many others have moved on but still think of it as home. A map of its streets and lakes is a calm, precise way to keep that northern chapter in view.
The title and subtitle can hold the city's name, a year of arrival or a family name, alongside an editable coordinates line. Pick one of five styles, with Noir and Blueprint suiting the crisp grid particularly well, and Classic, Paper or Sand for a lighter look.
