Ongata Rongai Map Poster & Print
Ongata Rongai lies just beyond Nairobi's southern boundary in Kajiado County, a town that has grown rapidly as the capital has expanded. Its main road runs through the middle like a spine, lined with shops, matatu stages and markets, while residential streets branch off on both sides in irregular blocks. From above, the pattern is dense near the road and looser toward the edges.
Nairobi National Park lies close by, one of the few protected savannahs directly beside a capital city. On a wider map, that open land contrasts sharply with the dense residential areas nearby. Seasonal streams and valleys run through the surrounding countryside, and the town's newer estates continue to spread over the rolling ground toward the south.
An Ongata Rongai map poster is a portrait of a young, growing town. The main road gives it a clear backbone, the side streets add texture, and the open land nearby sets it all in context. It suits residents who have made their home here, families who moved out from the city, and anyone who commutes along the road into Nairobi.

Spreading estates
