Historic core
Narrow streets gather around the old centre in an irregular knot, clearly distinct from the straighter residential grids that grew around it in the twentieth century.

Orbassano Map Poster & Print
Orbassano lies on the level plain just southwest of Turin, one of the ring of towns that surrounds the Piedmontese capital. On a map its historic centre shows as a tight cluster of streets around the old core, with newer residential blocks spreading outward in more regular grids. To the west the plain runs toward the first slopes of the Alps, visible on clear days from much of the town.
The town is closely tied to Turin's infrastructure. A large rail freight yard on the edge of town draws long parallel lines of track across the map, and the Sangone torrent runs just to the north, its wooded banks forming a soft band. Orbassano is also the site of the San Luigi Gonzaga university hospital, a major medical centre for the Turin area.
An Orbassano map poster shows how a small Piedmontese town has kept its own centre while becoming part of a larger metropolitan pattern: old streets at the heart, industrial and logistics areas at the edges, and fields still visible between the settlements. It is a map with a clear hierarchy, easy to read and satisfying to study up close.

Rail freight yard
Long bundles of parallel tracks on the edge of town form one of the most graphic elements on the map, a reminder of Orbassano's role in Turin's logistics network.
Sangone corridor
The Sangone torrent passes just north of the town, its meandering course and wooded banks adding a natural curve to an otherwise flat, orderly plain.

Pourquoi Orbassano
Une carte qui a du sens
Orbassano is home for many who work in Turin, and for others it is the place of a long hospital stay, a first job or a family house. A map poster of the town keeps that connection visible without needing a caption to explain it.
Set your own title and subtitle, change the coordinates line if you like, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital files come in six print sizes as 300 DPI PNG and PDF, or order a printed poster shipped from a print partner.
