Osa Map Poster & Print
Osa is one of the older towns of Perm Krai, set on the Kama River where it broadens into the Votkinsk Reservoir. The shoreline dominates the map: a long, irregular edge of water along one side of the frame, with the town rising from the riverbank in a network of streets that follows the lie of the land rather than a strict plan.
The older part of town, closest to the water, has a denser street pattern of low houses, while later districts extend inland in more regular blocks. In the eighteenth century Osa was drawn into Pugachev's rebellion, when the rebel army captured it in 1774, an episode that remains part of local memory.
An Osa map poster balances land and water in a way few towns can: a large share of the composition may be the calm open surface of the reservoir, with its bays and the far shore visible in the distance. It is a fitting print for people from the Kama region and for anyone who knows its wide northern river landscapes.

Riverside quarter
Streets nearest the water follow the slope of the land, creating a denser, less regular pattern than the newer districts further inland.
Inland blocks
Later residential areas extend away from the river in more regular rows, giving the poster a clear shift from historic to planned fabric.

Pourquoi Osa
Une carte qui a du sens
People leave towns like Osa for Perm, Moscow or further afield, but the view of the Kama tends to stay with them. A poster can carry a family name, a graduation year or a simple dedication in the title and subtitle, with the coordinates line set beneath.
Blueprint and Noir turn the reservoir into a deep, solid field against fine street lines, while Classic black & white, Paper and Sand keep it pale and quiet. Download the $9 HD files in six sizes, or order a matte poster printed by partners in more than 30 countries.
