Old town lanes
The historic centre is a maze of narrow streets and small plots. It produces a fine, intricate texture on the map that differs clearly from the newer areas.

La carte
Pāli Map Poster & Print
Pāli lies in the Marwar region of Rajasthan, between Jodhpur and the Aravalli hills. On a map the old town is a tight tangle of lanes and small blocks. Newer neighbourhoods and industrial areas spread out around it on flatter land, and the seasonal Bandi River runs past the town.
Pāli is known for textiles, especially dyeing and printing, and hundreds of small units work in the industry. The town is also a gateway to the Jain temples at Ranakpur and to the hill country further south. It is the administrative centre of Pāli district.
A Pāli map poster contrasts old and new. The historic core is dense and irregular. Industrial estates show as larger, more regular blocks, and the dry riverbed curves across the landscape. Beyond the built-up area, rural roads cross open land in long, thin lines.

Bandi River course
The Bandi River, often dry for much of the year, curves past the town. Its wide bed forms a soft line through the surrounding land.
Textile industrial areas
Dyeing and printing units are grouped in industrial zones around the edge of the town. On the map they appear as larger, more regular blocks.

Pourquoi Pāli
Une carte qui a du sens
Pāli matters to many families in the textile trade and to the wider Marwari community spread across India and abroad. A map of the town offers a calm, graphic reminder of where that story began.
Add a family name, a year or a neighbourhood to the title and subtitle, and keep or change the coordinates. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits the dry Rajasthani landscape.
