Pallikunnu Map Poster & Print
Pallikunnu is a suburb on the northern side of Kannur, on the Malabar coast of northern Kerala. From above, it shows a pattern typical of coastal Kerala: a main road carrying traffic in and out of the city, with a web of narrow lanes branching off it toward houses set among trees and gardens. The Arabian Sea lies a short distance to the west.
The neighbourhood is closely tied to Kannur, a historic port and the administrative centre of the district, and schools, institutions and homes spread along its roads. Kannur is known for its handloom weaving and for Theyyam, the ritual performance art of northern Kerala. On a map, the dense web of lanes gives Pallikunnu a delicate, intricate texture.
A Pallikunnu map poster turns a familiar neighbourhood into a precise, elegant image, with the main roads as bold lines and the side lanes as fine detail. It makes a thoughtful gift for people who grew up here, for families now working in the Gulf or elsewhere, and for anyone connected to Kannur.

Lane network
Narrow, winding lanes connect homes set among gardens and trees. Together they form a dense, branching pattern typical of settlements on the Kerala coast.
Near the coast
The Arabian Sea lies a short way to the west, and a slightly wider view brings the shoreline into the frame as a smooth edge to the map.

Pourquoi Pallikunnu
Une carte qui a du sens
Many families from Kannur live far from home, and a map of Pallikunnu brings the neighbourhood back into everyday view. It records the lanes of childhood, the way to school and the streets leading toward the sea.
