Valley floor town
The streets fill the flattest available ground, so the town's outline follows the valley rather than any planned boundary. That gives the poster an organic, elongated shape.

Panghai Map Poster & Print
Panghai sits in the hill country of eastern Guizhou, where settlements grow along whatever flat ground the valleys allow. On a map the built-up area looks compact and slightly irregular. Its roads follow the valley and the water, and the surrounding slopes stay blank, crossed only by a few winding lanes and field tracks.
This is a region of folded uplands and narrow basins, and the pattern shows clearly at poster scale. A single main road ties the town together, and smaller lanes branch off toward terraces and hamlets on the hillsides. A Panghai map poster is less about a dense grid than about a town that has adapted to its terrain.
Eastern Guizhou is known for its mountainous landscape and its Miao and Dong communities. Towns like Panghai work as local centres for markets and services for the villages around them. In black and white the contrast between the settled valley and the empty highland becomes the main subject.

Winding hill roads
Roads leaving town curve to follow contours. On the map they show up as loose looping lines that set the town inside its hilly surroundings.
Open slopes
Much of the frame is wooded or farmed hillside with few mapped features. The quiet surroundings make the small cluster of streets stand out.
