Road junction centre
The town grew around a meeting of roads, so the map has a clear focal point, with lanes branching outward from the busiest stretch.

La carte
Pasān Map Poster & Print
Pasān lies in northern Chhattisgarh, an upland area of rolling hills, forest and cultivated clearings. On the map it is a compact settlement around a road junction, with a market street, residential lanes and scattered houses along the approach roads. Past the last buildings, the map shifts quickly to fields and wooded slopes.
Much of this part of the state is forested, and the surrounding villages are home to Adivasi communities whose farming follows the monsoon. Streams cut through the land and run full in the rainy season. On the map they leave thin, branching lines that feed into larger rivers downstream.
A Pasān map poster keeps the view close and honest: a small town at a crossing of roads, framed by open land. In black and white, the forest edges and stream lines become quiet texture. The settlement at the centre stands out clearly and needs no embellishment or added colour.

Seasonal streams
Small watercourses run through the surrounding land as fine branching lines. They swell during the monsoon and thin out in the dry months.
Forest and field edges
The boundary between cultivated clearings and woodland creates soft, irregular shapes that fill the open space all around the small town.
