Pehowa Map Poster & Print
Pehowa lies in Kurukshetra district in northern Haryana, on level farmland cut by irrigation channels and seasonal streams. It is one of the region's oldest religious centres, associated with the ancient Prithudaka tirtha, and its layout still reflects that role, with a dense older core close to the water and newer growth along the roads.
Pilgrims come to Pehowa to perform rites for deceased ancestors on the banks of the Saraswati, and family genealogists here have kept written records of visiting families for generations. The ghats and temple precincts form the heart of the town, where narrow streets converge on the bank before opening into markets and residential lanes.
Around the settlement, a Pehowa map poster shows the geometry of the Haryana plain: rectangular fields, straight channels and rural roads heading toward neighbouring towns. The contrast between the tight old centre and this open, ordered countryside gives the map its character, and even small lanes stay legible at larger print sizes.

Old town lanes
Close to the water, short winding streets and small plots pack tightly together, in clear contrast with the straighter roads of later neighbourhoods.
Farmland grid
Beyond the built-up edge, fields divide the plain into long rectangles, crossed by irrigation channels and rural roads heading off in every direction.
