Shipyard waterfront
Repair yards and docks line much of the shore, pushing angular piers and dry-dock shapes into the water. This is the most industrial part of the map.

La carte
Pérama Map Poster & Print
Pérama lies on the western edge of the Piraeus area, on the narrow strait facing the island of Salamina. On a map it forms a dense strip between the sea and the hills behind. Streets of apartment buildings rise steeply from the waterfront and stop abruptly where the rocky slopes become too steep to build on.
Ship repair yards, docks and slipways dominate the shoreline and appear as large, angular shapes projecting into the water. Pérama is also the mainland terminal of the short ferry crossing to Salamina, one of the busiest ferry routes in Greece, with boats shuttling across the channel throughout the day.
Above the harbour, streets follow the contours in tight curves, and the upper neighbourhoods look out across the strait toward the island. A Pérama map poster captures this compact, vertical coastal town: industrial edges at sea level, dense housing on the slopes, and open water on the other side.

Salamina crossing
The ferry landing is a short hop from the island across a narrow strait. On the map, Salamina's coast faces Pérama closely across the water.
Streets on the slope
Behind the harbour, streets climb the hillside in tight curves and switchbacks. The dense pattern stops sharply at the rocky upper edge.

Pourquoi Pérama
Une carte qui a du sens
Pérama is a town of seafarers and shipyard workers, and many families have been tied to the harbour for generations. A map of its coast and hills is a direct way to keep that connection on the wall.
Blueprint suits the maritime subject, but all five styles are available, and you set the title, subtitle and coordinates line. Order a printed poster, framed or unframed, or download the HD files for $9.
