Mother Teresa Boulevard
The long pedestrian boulevard runs through the centre in a clear straight line. It gives the map an obvious spine, and the rest of the core spreads out from it.

Pristina Map Poster & Print
Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, spreads across gentle hills at the edge of a broad plain. Its map shows layers from different periods: a small, irregular old quarter of winding lanes near the historic mosques and bazaar area, and the straighter blocks of twentieth-century growth around it. Newer neighbourhoods climb the slopes to the south and east, where the street patterns loosen and follow the contours of the land.
The centre is organised around Mother Teresa Boulevard, a long pedestrian avenue lined with cafés and public buildings. Nearby stands the National Library of Kosovo, known for its unusual design of white domes wrapped in a metal lattice. Close by is the NEWBORN monument, unveiled in 2008 on the day independence was declared and repainted every year since.
A Pristina map poster captures a city small enough to take in at a glance: the pedestrian spine, the ring of hills and the green mass of Germia Park to the northeast. In black and white, the contrast between the dense centre and the looser outer districts becomes the main subject of the design, and the result is simple and clear.

Germia Park
A large forested park on the hills northeast of the centre shows up as a broad open area at the edge of the street grid, balancing the built-up core.
Hillside neighbourhoods
Residential districts on the surrounding slopes follow roads that curve with the terrain. Their patterns are looser and more organic than the blocks near the centre.
