Senqu River
The Senqu, which becomes the Orange River downstream, winds through the valley below the town, a strong, curving line that adds depth to the map.

La carte
Quthing Map Poster & Print
Quthing, also known as Moyeni, is the capital of Quthing District in southern Lesotho. It sits on high ground above the valley of the Senqu River, the upper course of the Orange River, surrounded by mountains, ridges and deep valleys.
From above, the town's layout is shaped by relief. Roads climb and switch back along the slopes, and houses cluster on terraces and spurs. The Senqu cuts a sinuous line through the land below. In a minimalist print, the town appears as a small, compact network within a strong natural frame.
A Quthing map poster reflects one of the most dramatic settings in southern Africa. The district is also known for its dinosaur footprints preserved in the rock nearby, and for the rugged scenery that makes this corner of Lesotho a destination for travellers crossing the highlands.

Switchback roads
Streets and roads bend repeatedly to climb the steep terrain, drawing zigzags and loops that give the poster a sense of height even in flat black and white.
Compact hilltop town
The settlement is small and concentrated on higher ground, making it easy to read as a single shape surrounded by open, mountainous land.
