Ratia Map Poster & Print
Ratia is a town in Fatehabad district in northwestern Haryana, close to the border with Punjab. It stands on the level alluvial plain that stretches across this part of northern India, where there is almost no relief to shape the streets. The older centre is densely built, with narrow lanes around the market, and newer neighbourhoods extend along the roads leading out of town.
Agriculture defines the area. Wheat and rice are the main crops, and the fields are watered by a network of canals that carry water across the plain in long straight channels. Ratia serves as a market and service centre for the surrounding villages, and the grain trade is central to its economy, as in many towns across this farming belt.
A Ratia map poster reflects that geometry. The canals and field roads draw long, almost ruler-straight lines, and the town sits among them as a dense, irregular knot of lanes. It is a simple composition with a clear logic, the kind of map that shows how farming and water have organised a landscape.

Irrigation canals
Straight canal lines cross the surrounding countryside, a signature feature of the Haryana plain that gives the poster a strong geometric frame.
Roads to the villages
Roads radiate toward neighbouring villages and towns, forming long lines across the flat land that tie Ratia to its agricultural hinterland.
