La carte
Rye Map Poster & Print
Rye is a small city in Westchester County, New York, on the northern shore of Long Island Sound. Its coastline is one of the most intricate in the area, broken into points, coves, inlets and salt marshes, so from above the edge of the land looks almost lace-like against the open water of the Sound.
Inland, the city is a mix of a small, walkable downtown near the railway station and residential areas along winding, tree-lined roads. Interstate 95 and the Metro-North line cross the city on parallel routes, while the approach to Interstate 287 lies close by to the north.
Rye is well known for Playland, the Art Deco amusement park on the waterfront that opened in the 1920s and is a National Historic Landmark. A Rye map poster brings together the rail line, the curving suburban streets and a shoreline complex enough to hold attention for a long time.

Playland
The historic amusement park sits right on the waterfront, next to a beach and a narrow inlet, a well-known landmark that marks the shoreline on the map.
Rail and I-95
The Metro-North line and Interstate 95 run across the city side by side, two clean lines separating the downtown area from the quieter residential districts.

Pourquoi Rye
Une carte qui a du sens
