Shuangjiang Map Poster & Print
Shuangjiang is a town in Tongnan district, in the northwest of Chongqing municipality, in the hilly country of the Sichuan Basin. Its name means "two rivers", which points to the waterways that shaped where the settlement grew. The surrounding land is a mix of low hills, terraced fields and valley bottoms.
The town is known for its old quarter, where traditional courtyard houses and narrow streets from the Qing era have survived. It is also known as the hometown of Yang Shangkun, a former President of China. On a map, the old core shows as a finely grained cluster of lanes, while newer districts around it follow wider, straighter roads.
A Shuangjiang map poster shows how a historic settlement fits into hilly terrain and water. Streets bend with the contours, waterways weave through the land, and the old centre sits among the newer growth. The result is a detailed, balanced composition that tells the story of a small town with a long past.

Waterways
Rivers and streams, the source of the town's name, wind through the surrounding valleys. They add soft curves across the map.
Hill-country roads
Roads follow the contours of the Sichuan Basin's low hills. They create looping, irregular lines instead of a strict grid.
