Indented coastline
Bays and inlets cut deep into the land, so the edge of the map becomes an intricate line of headlands and sheltered water.

Sinhyeon Map Poster & Print
Sinhyeon is a town within Geoje, the large island off the south coast of South Gyeongsang province. The island's coastline is deeply indented, and from above Sinhyeon shows the typical Geoje pattern: dense districts squeezed onto the flatter ground around bays, with forested hills rising steeply behind them.
The urban area follows the shape of the land, with apartment blocks and streets packed into valleys and along the shore, and roads threading between hills to link one bay with the next. Along the water, large industrial areas with long quays and docks create hard, geometric edges that stand out against the natural curves of the coast.
Geoje is one of the centres of Korean shipbuilding, and the shipyards on the island have long defined its economy and much of its shoreline. A Sinhyeon map poster turns this dense arrangement of bays, hills and docks into a striking, highly detailed print.

Shipyard quays
Industrial waterfronts form large rectilinear shapes with long straight edges, clearly different from the residential streets inland.
Hills between districts
Wooded slopes separate one neighbourhood from the next, leaving blank areas that give the map its rhythm.

Pourquoi Sinhyeon
Une carte qui a du sens
Many people came to Sinhyeon to work in the yards, and many grew up there. A map of the town captures both the bays and the industry, a fitting keepsake for a place that shaped careers and families.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line and pick one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the shipbuilding character of the island, while Noir makes the coastline stand out sharply.
