Sonsón Map Poster & Print
Sonsón sits high in the Andes of southeastern Antioquia, at an altitude where the air is cool and mist often settles on the hills. From above, the town is a neat grid of streets arranged around a central plaza, laid out on a shelf of land with steep slopes falling away on several sides.
It is one of the older towns of the Antioquian highlands and has kept much of its traditional architecture: whitewashed houses with wooden balconies and tiled roofs lining straight streets. The cathedral and main square anchor the centre, and roads leave town in long zigzags down into the valleys.
A Sonsón map poster combines two very different patterns. In the middle, a regular colonial grid, drawn with sharp, clean lines. Around it, the curving mountain roads and field boundaries that follow the terrain. Together they give the design a strong sense of place and height.

Pourquoi Sonsón
Une carte qui a du sens
For those who grew up in Sonsón or visited its cool streets, the map holds the feeling of the town: ordered and calm at the centre, with the mountains close on every side.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or a wedding date, and choose one of five styles. Paper gives the colonial grid a gentle, archival feel, while Noir makes the mountain roads stand out.
