Taphan Hin Map Poster & Print
Taphan Hin is a district town in Phichit province, on the broad, flat plain of lower northern Thailand. The centre is a small, fairly regular grid of streets around the market and the railway station on the northern line. From above it looks orderly and compact, with shophouse blocks lining the main roads and residential lanes filling in behind them.
The name is generally read as an old form of stone bridge, pointing to a crossing that gave the place its identity. Around the town the land is almost entirely agricultural: rice paddies divided by canals, irrigation channels and field embankments. On a Taphan Hin map poster these produce a finely ruled pattern that spreads to every edge.
The railway runs through the town as one decisive straight line, dividing the grid and linking Taphan Hin to Bangkok in the south and Phitsanulok in the north. Together, the ruled fields, the canals and that single rail stroke give the composition an engineered, almost diagrammatic calm that suits a monochrome print.

Market grid
Streets around the market form a compact, nearly rectangular grid that reads clearly against the open fields around it.
Paddy and canals
Canals and field boundaries cover the surrounding plain, forming a precise, repetitive texture typical of Thailand's rice-growing heartland.
