Ubaidullāhganj is a town in the Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh, south of Bhopal. From above, it is a compact town built along a main highway, with streets branching off to both sides and fields and forest beyond. The hills of the Vindhya range rise nearby, and much of the surrounding land is covered by forest.
The town is best known as the nearest settlement to the Bhimbetka rock shelters, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where prehistoric paintings have been found in natural caves among the sandstone hills. The area is also close to the Ratapani wildlife sanctuary.
