Uychi Map Poster & Print
Uychi lies in Namangan Region in eastern Uzbekistan, in the northern part of the Fergana Valley. The valley floor is flat and densely farmed, and from above the town shows a mix of straight Soviet-era streets and older neighbourhoods of low houses and walled courtyards, the mahallas, where lanes narrow and bend between gardens.
Water shapes everything here. Irrigation canals and ditches run through and around the town, feeding cotton fields, orchards and vineyards in a pattern of long, narrow plots. On a map these channels appear as fine lines laid parallel to one another or following the gentle slope of the land, giving the countryside around Uychi a structured, almost textile quality.
A Uychi map poster suits people from the town and district, including those now working in Tashkent or abroad, who want to keep the shape of home in view. The contrast between the orderly centre, the intricate mahalla lanes and the ruled lines of the fields makes a surprisingly rich composition for a town of this size.

Irrigation canals
Channels cross the landscape in long straight or gently curving lines, the lifeblood of the valley and one of the defining patterns on the poster.
Orchard belt
Gardens and orchards surround the built area in small rectangular plots, softening the edges of the town and blending it gradually into the farmland.
