West Ham Map Poster & Print
West Ham is a district of East London in the borough of Newham, and it was once a county borough in its own right. From above it is a tight, fine-grained pattern of terraced streets laid out in the nineteenth century as industry and railways spread east from the City. Rail lines cut through the area at angles, splitting the terraces into irregular wedges.
To the west, the River Lea and its channels, including Bow Creek, mark an old boundary with a looser, more industrial pattern of water, sidings and new development around Stratford and the Olympic Park. West Ham Park, owned and managed by the City of London, is a clear open rectangle among the houses. The name is known around the world through West Ham United, the football club founded in the area.
A West Ham map poster captures the density of inner East London: hundreds of narrow parallel streets, the curves of railway lines and the branching channels of the Lea. In black and white the terraces become a close, almost woven texture, broken only by the park, the rail corridors and the water on the western edge.

River Lea channels
The Lea and Bow Creek wind along the western side in several branching channels, giving the map a line of water and irregular edges.
West Ham Park
A large, tidy block of green space sits among the terraces, one of the few calm, open shapes in this densely built part of London.

Pourquoi West Ham
Une carte qui a du sens
West Ham means something specific to supporters, to families with East End roots and to people who have lived in these terraces. The map offers a quieter way to show that loyalty, with the streets themselves as the subject.
Add your own title, a subtitle such as a year or a club memory, and the coordinates line, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Available as $9 digital HD files or as a printed, optionally framed poster.
