La carte
Winthrop Map Poster & Print
Winthrop is a town on a peninsula in Boston Harbor, just north of Logan International Airport and east of downtown Boston. On the map it is almost an island. Water surrounds it on nearly every side, and it is connected to the mainland only by a narrow link to East Boston and Revere near Belle Isle Marsh.
Within that compact outline, streets curve over small hills and down to beaches, with neighbourhoods such as Point Shirley and Cottage Hill each holding a distinct part of the peninsula. To the south lies Deer Island, joined to Winthrop by land, where the large egg-shaped digesters of the regional wastewater treatment plant are a well-known sight.
A Winthrop map poster is defined by its coastline. The irregular shoreline, the beaches, the marsh and the nearby runways form a striking composition, and the density of the streets inside the peninsula contrasts clearly with the open harbour around it.

Pourquoi Winthrop
Une carte qui a du sens
Winthrop's shape is unusual enough that people recognise it instantly, and residents feel strongly about their small place in the harbour. A map poster suits a beach house, a first apartment or a family who has lived here for generations.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates to mark a street, a year or a name. The map is available in Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as HD files or a printed poster shipped within the United States.
