Yamjāl Map Poster & Print
Yamjāl lies on the southeastern edge of Hyderabad in Telangana, in an area where the city's expansion is steadily reaching into former farmland. From above, it shows the characteristic mix of the Deccan urban fringe: an older settlement core, grids of newly plotted residential layouts spreading outward, and patches of open land still waiting to be built on.
The Outer Ring Road passes nearby, a broad, sweeping curve that carries traffic around the metropolis, and the highway toward Nagarjuna Sagar cuts through the area as a strong diagonal. Irrigation tanks, the traditional reservoirs of the Deccan, add rounded shapes of water to a landscape of rocky ground and gentle rises.
Much of this growth is recent, so the map records a place in the middle of change. A Yamjāl map poster captures that moment: the new streets laid out in neat rectangles, the older lanes at the centre, and the ring road binding everything into the larger shape of Hyderabad.

New plotted layouts
Rectangular residential layouts, many still partly empty, extend across former farmland in tidy grids that give the map a crisp, engineered pattern.
Tanks and rocky ground
Traditional irrigation tanks and the scattered boulders and rises of the Deccan plateau break up the new grids with irregular, natural forms.
