Moro lies in Naushahro Feroze District in central Sindh, on the flat alluvial plain east of the Indus. The land here is farmed intensively, and the town serves as a trading point for the surrounding agricultural area. On a map, its shape is defined less by natural features than by the roads and canals that cross the plain around it.
The built-up area is compact, with a dense centre of narrow streets and markets giving way to looser residential blocks toward the edges. Main roads lead out in several directions, and the national highway passing the town adds a long, strong line to the composition. Beyond, fields form a regular pattern divided by irrigation channels.
