A linear settlement
Buildings and lanes follow the line of the valley, giving Puchi an elongated, ribbon-like footprint that reads very differently from a compact town centre.

Puchi Map Poster & Print
Puchi is a small settlement in the Longnan area of southern Gansu, a region of high ridges and deep valleys on the southern edge of the province. Here the mountains dominate everything, and the few areas of flat land are claimed by villages, fields and the roads that link them, all squeezed between steep slopes.
Seen from above, the settlement pattern is linear rather than round. Houses and lanes line up along the valley, and the road network forms a thin thread with occasional side branches that climb away into the hills. The contrast between this narrow built strip and the empty mountainsides around it is striking.
A Puchi map poster keeps that contrast intact. Large areas of open space frame a slender band of streets, so the finished print feels spacious and quiet. It is less about individual landmarks, which we do not claim to know here, and more about the fundamental shape of a mountain community in western China.

Mountain frame
Steep, largely unbuilt slopes surround the settlement, leaving generous empty space on the map that makes the few road lines stand out sharply.
Climbing side roads
Occasional branches leave the main valley route and zigzag up the hillsides, adding small, intricate curves to an otherwise spare composition.

למה Puchi
מפה עם משמעות
A poster of Puchi is a quiet tribute to a place most maps barely notice. For someone who was born there or whose family comes from Longnan, it turns a remote valley into a daily reminder on the wall.
Add your own title, subtitle and a meaningful date, or keep the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand; Paper and Sand suit the open, mountainous feel of this map especially well.
