Columbia Map Poster & Print
Columbia is the seat of Maury County in Middle Tennessee, south of Nashville. Its map centres on a traditional courthouse square, with a grid of downtown streets extending from it. The Duck River curves along the northern edge of the town and gives the composition a long, winding line of water against the regular streets.
Columbia is known as the ancestral home of James K. Polk, the eleventh president of the United States. His family home near downtown is the only surviving residence where he lived, apart from the White House. The town also calls itself the Mule Capital of the World and celebrates it with the annual Mule Day each spring.
