Bad Zwischenahn is defined on the map by the Zwischenahner Meer, a large, almost rounded lake in the Ammerland district near Oldenburg. The town sits on its southern shore, and the lakeside promenade, spa park and jetties give the water's edge a detailed, finely drawn line.
