Old town core
At the centre, narrow lanes and small irregular blocks crowd together, the densest part of the map and the area that has grown most organically over time.

La mappa
Bhadravati Map Poster & Print
Bhadravati is a town in Chandrapur district, in the Vidarbha region of eastern Maharashtra. On the map it appears as a dense core of lanes and small blocks set within a wide, largely flat landscape of fields, with roads radiating outward to neighbouring villages and towns and south towards the district headquarters at Chandrapur.
The town is known for a large Jain temple dedicated to Parshvanatha, which draws pilgrims from across the region, and for the Ordnance Factory Chanda, whose planned estate adds a more regular pattern of streets beside the older centre. The surrounding district is also associated with coal mining, and rail lines serving that industry cross the wider area.
A Bhadravati map poster shows these layers side by side: the irregular old town, the orderly lines of the factory township and the long straight roads heading into open country. It is a modest composition, but an honest one, closer to the real texture of a working Indian town than to any postcard view.

Factory township
The ordnance factory estate introduces a planned, more regular street layout, clearly distinct from the older town when the two are seen side by side from above.
Roads into the plain
Straight roads lead out across the flat farmland of Vidarbha, connecting Bhadravati with Chandrapur and the surrounding villages in clean, simple lines.
