Streets on slopes
Roads curve and step with the hilly terrain, so the street network reads as a set of loose arcs rather than a rigid grid. This pattern is typical of southern Minas Gerais.

La mappa
Elói Mendes Map Poster & Print
Elói Mendes is a municipality in the south of Minas Gerais, a region of rounded hills, small rivers and farmland long associated with coffee growing. On the map the urban area forms a compact cluster. Its streets bend to follow the slopes rather than holding to a strict grid, and the town's outline changes with the shape of the ground beneath it.
Like many towns of the Minas interior, it grew outward from a central core, with residential blocks spreading along the roads that lead to neighbouring municipalities. Beyond the last streets the lines thin quickly into rural roads and field boundaries. The town feels closely tied to the agricultural land around it, which is typical of this part of Brazil.
An Elói Mendes map poster captures that scale: a town small enough to see whole, with every street visible and the countryside pressing in at the edges. It shows the kind of place that shaped much of southern Minas, modest, rooted in agriculture and still closely connected to the hills and fields that surround it.

Compact centre
The older core is dense and small, with short blocks packed close together, so the heart of the town is easy to pick out at any poster size.
Rural edges
Where the built-up area ends, the map changes to scattered country roads leading out toward farms and coffee land, which gives the poster an open, airy margin.
