La mappa
Fubang Map Poster & Print
Fubang lies in the south-west of Yunnan province in China, in a subtropical region of steep hills, narrow valleys and terraced slopes not far from the border with Myanmar. The terrain shapes the town's map. The built-up area gathers on the more level ground, and roads leave it by following valleys and ridges instead of taking direct lines across the land.
Around the centre the street network is compact. A main road serves as the spine for shops, markets and public buildings, and smaller lanes spread onto the lower slopes. Beyond that the map quickly turns rural, a mix of scattered villages, farm tracks and fields fitted into the folds of the land. This part of Yunnan is home to several ethnic minority communities and is known for tea growing.
A Fubang map poster captures a place where the land is always visible in the street pattern. Winding roads, a tight core and the loose web of rural paths add up to an organic, almost hand-drawn image. It rewards a close look and suits a quieter corner of a home.

Compact centre
The town's streets gather tightly around a main road on the flatter ground. They form a small, dense core that stands out clearly against the countryside.
Hillside farmland
Fields and terraces fill the slopes around the town, linked by narrow tracks. On the map they make a fine, irregular texture that surrounds the settlement.
