La mappa
Iúna Map Poster & Print
Iúna lies in the south-west of Espírito Santo, in the mountainous region near the border with Minas Gerais. The town sits in a valley surrounded by steep green hills, and the Caparaó range, home to some of Brazil's highest peaks, lies not far away.
On a map, the streets are packed into the valley floor and climb the lower slopes wherever possible. A river runs through the area, and the main roads follow it, while smaller streets curve up the hills. Coffee plantations cover much of the surrounding land.
An Iúna map poster shows a town shaped by its terrain. The valley narrows and widens, streets bend with the slopes, and the outline of the settlement follows the land closely. It is a small place, but its setting gives the print a lot of natural movement.
