La mappa
Le Quartier Latin Map Poster & Print
This Quartier Latin is not in Paris but in Lyon, on the left bank of the Rhône in the city's seventh arrondissement. On the map it is shaped by the river: a broad band of water to the west, quays running along its edge, and streets laid out in a fairly regular pattern that extends east from the bank.
The name reflects the university presence here, with faculty buildings standing along the Rhône quays. Bridges link this bank to the Presqu'île, the narrow peninsula between the Rhône and the Saône that holds the historic centre of Lyon. The riverside promenades on the left bank form a long, continuous open strip.
A Le Quartier Latin map poster sets orderly city blocks against the wide curve of the Rhône. The river and its bridges become the strongest elements of the composition, while the streets behind the quays give the print a steady, measured pattern.

Perché Le Quartier Latin
Una mappa che ha un significato
For anyone who studied in Lyon, this is the map of lectures, riverside walks and student flats a few streets back from the quay. It makes a thoughtful graduation gift or a reminder of years spent by the Rhône.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a faculty name or graduation year, and choose one of five styles. Blueprint and Classic black and white both bring out the river and bridges clearly.
