La mappa
Moses Lake Map Poster & Print
Moses Lake sits in the Columbia Basin of central Washington, in dry country turned green by irrigation. The city is built around the lake that shares its name, and from above the water dominates everything. The lake divides into several long, narrow arms, and neighbourhoods fill the peninsulas between them, so streets constantly meet the shore.
Interstate 90 crosses the lake on a long causeway and bridge, giving the map a strong straight line through the water. North of town, the former Larson Air Force Base is now Grant County International Airport, whose exceptionally long runway has been used for heavy aircraft testing and training. On a Moses Lake map poster it appears as a bold, precise stroke.
Beyond the city, the Columbia Basin Project turned sagebrush plains into farmland, and the surrounding land is marked by irrigation canals and circular fields. The contrast between the fingered lake, the tight residential grids on its peninsulas and the geometric farmland around it makes this one of the more unusual small-city maps in the western United States.

I-90 crossing
Interstate 90 crosses the water on a causeway and bridge. The line runs straight across the lake and ties the two sides of the city together.
Airport runway
The former air force base north of town has one of the longest runways in the region. On the poster it forms a clean, dramatic line among the fields.

Perché Moses Lake
Una mappa che ha un significato
People hang a Moses Lake map for the water: the way the lake arms reach through town is unlike most places in the state. It suits lake houses, family homes in the Basin and anyone who has flown or boated here.
Set your own title, add a date or a line about the lake in the subtitle, and adjust the coordinates. Choose from five styles, including Blueprint and Paper, and get six print sizes as HD files or a printed, optionally framed poster.
