The highway line
The road linking Toluca and Mexico City passes the town as a long, steady stroke, a clear structural spine against the looser pattern of local streets and hillside lanes.

La mappa
Ocoyoacac Map Poster & Print
Ocoyoacac sits in the State of México on the high ground between the Toluca valley and the mountains that separate it from Mexico City. From above, the town reads as a compact core of short, irregular blocks around its church and plaza, with newer housing spreading along the roads that climb toward the east and the dark mass of pine forest beyond.
The main route between Toluca and the capital runs past the town, and on a map it cuts a long, confident line through a landscape that is otherwise shaped by contour and slope. Side roads branch off it and twist uphill, and the gaps between them fill with fields, ravines and patches of woodland rather than a regular grid.
A Ocoyoacac map poster shows how closely the town is held by its terrain. The municipality reaches up toward La Marquesa, the high-altitude park area known to weekend visitors from both cities, so the drawing moves from dense town streets at one edge to open, sparsely lined forest country at the other, a contrast that reads well in black and white.

Town centre
Around the church and main square the blocks are small and slightly uneven, the densest part of the drawing and the natural focal point for a centred poster.
Toward La Marquesa
East of town the roads thin out into forested high country around La Marquesa, where only a few winding routes cross large, quiet areas of open paper.

Perché Ocoyoacac
Una mappa che ha un significato
Ocoyoacac suits people who know it as home, or as the last town before the road climbs over the mountains. The poster keeps the relationship between street and slope that defines the place, and it works as well in a hallway as above a desk.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name or a date that matters. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to match the room.
