La mappa
Stow Map Poster & Print
Stow lies in Summit County in northeast Ohio, between Akron and Kent. Its boundaries follow the old township lines of the Western Reserve, so the city's outline is close to a square. Inside that frame the streets are more varied. Older arterial roads run straight, while newer subdivisions loop and branch into cul-de-sacs.
The Cuyahoga River winds along the city's edge, and on a map its bends contrast with the straight township roads. Small creeks, ponds and wooded strips break up the residential areas. They leave pale gaps in the street pattern that give the poster some rhythm instead of an even field of lines.
A Stow map poster records a familiar American form: a township grid overlaid with decades of suburban growth. It is recognisable to anyone who has driven its main roads or lived on one of its side streets, and it holds up well in every style.

Cuyahoga bends
The river curves along the edge of the city in wide loops. It is the one natural line that ignores the survey grid.
Cul-de-sac neighbourhoods
Residential streets branch into loops and dead ends. The result is a fine, leaf-like texture between the straight arterial roads.

Perché Stow
Una mappa che ha un significato
Stow is the kind of place people call home for years: where they raised children, bought a first house or grew up. A map of it is personal without being sentimental, and it fits a hallway or home office.
Title it with your street or family name, add a move-in date as the subtitle, and choose from Classic, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital files cover six sizes, and printed posters can be ordered with a wooden frame.
