La mappa
Zarrīn Shahr Map Poster & Print
Zarrīn Shahr, whose name means golden city, is the main town of Lenjan county, southwest of Isfahan. It sits in the valley of the Zayandeh River, where irrigated fields and orchards form a green band through otherwise dry land. On the map the town is a fairly compact grid of streets with long avenues, bordered by farmland and the river's meandering course.
The area is closely tied to heavy industry, most notably the Isfahan steel works nearby, which shaped the town's growth during the twentieth century. That modern development shows in the plan: broad, straight roads, regular residential blocks and clear connections toward Isfahan. A Zarrīn Shahr map poster sets this ordered layout against the looser shapes of the river valley.
Beyond the fields, the terrain opens into arid hills and plains, so the map has a natural border where cultivation ends. The river, with its fringe of small canals and green plots, gives the composition its most organic line. It is a quiet sheet, clear and structured, with the valley drawing the eye from one side to the other.

Planned avenues
Long, straight avenues and regular blocks give the centre an orderly look, reflecting the growth that came with the region's twentieth-century industrial development.
Irrigated farmland
Around the town, a patchwork of small irrigated plots and channels fills the valley floor, a fine texture that fades into open, dry terrain further out.
