Arad Map Poster & Print
Arad lies on the Mureș river in western Romania, near the Hungarian border. On a map, the river curves through the city from east to west. On one of its bends sits a large, six-pointed star fortress built by the Habsburgs in the eighteenth century, in the geometric style of that era. Its shape is one of the most distinctive urban features in the country.
The city centre developed on the opposite bank. Its main street, Bulevardul Revoluției, is wide and lined with nineteenth- and early twentieth-century buildings, including the large Administrative Palace. Arad is also remembered for 1849, when thirteen Hungarian generals from the revolutionary army were executed here, an event still commemorated in the city.
An Arad map poster shows the fortress inside the river bend, the long central boulevard, and the grid of streets that spreads out from it. Parks and wooded areas along the riverbanks add blank space to the design. The combination of a star-shaped fort and a clear urban grid makes the print both historical and precise.

Aradを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Arad has a strong place in both Romanian and Hungarian memory, and its map is instantly recognisable to anyone who knows it. The fortress by the river makes it a distinctive print on any wall.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name or a date that matters to you. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Classic black & white shows the fortress most clearly.
