Banko Map Poster & Print
Banko is a town in the Faranah region of Guinea, in the interior of the country. There is not much detailed published information about it, so the map is the best description. It shows a small settlement where a few roads meet, surrounded by open savanna land, scattered trees and farmed plots.
The built-up area is compact. Houses and compounds cluster close to the roads, and small tracks connect them. There is no large grid or ring road here. The settlement grew gradually along the routes that pass through it. At the edges, the pattern loosens into fields and bush, and the tracks carry on toward neighbouring villages.
A Banko map poster is a simple, spare image: a few lines of road, a knot of buildings where they meet, and a lot of empty space around them. That simplicity is part of its appeal. It records a place that rarely appears on printed maps, drawn with the same care as any major city.

Compound pattern
Around the roads, houses and family compounds form a loose, irregular texture. It is different from the regular blocks of planned towns.
Open savanna
Beyond the settlement, the map opens into wide country with only a few tracks. The empty space around Banko makes the town itself stand out.

Bankoを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
For someone from Banko, or with family in the Faranah region, a map like this is rare. Few printed maps give a small Guinean town its own frame, and this one shows the place as it is.
Write the name you use for home in the title, add a family name or a date as the subtitle, and keep or change the coordinates. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand gives the savanna a warm tone.
