Ipubi Map Poster
Ipubi is a municipality in the western sertão of Pernambuco, in northeastern Brazil, close to the Chapada do Araripe, a long flat-topped plateau that runs along the border with Ceará. On the map the town is a compact grid of streets surrounded by dry country, with rural roads fanning out toward farms and small communities.
The region belongs to the Araripe gypsum district, one of the most important sources of gypsum in Brazil, and mining and processing are central to the local economy. The climate is semi-arid, and the landscape is dominated by caatinga, the drought-adapted scrubland of the interior of the Northeast.
An Ipubi map poster is spare and clear: a small, orderly town in the middle of open land, crossed by a few main roads and many minor tracks. The minimal character of the dry interior shows in the generous open space around the streets.

Ipubiを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Many people from Ipubi have moved to larger cities in Brazil but keep strong ties to the sertão. A map of their hometown brings a piece of that landscape into their daily life.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or a date, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits the dry country.
