Dense core
The centre of Kheri is a tight weave of narrow lanes and small plots, and it forms the darkest, most detailed area on the poster.

Kheri Map Poster & Print
Kheri is a town in the Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. By area this is the largest district in the state, and it lies on the plains near the border with Nepal. The ground here is almost completely flat. On the map the town appears as a dense cluster of lanes and small blocks surrounded by open farmland.
The district is known for sugarcane, which covers much of the surrounding countryside. It is also known for Dudhwa National Park to the north, a protected area of the Terai where tigers, swamp deer and one-horned rhinoceros live. Kheri sits a short distance from Lakhimpur, the district headquarters, and a road links the two.
A Kheri map poster shows the character of a plains town: tightly packed older lanes at the centre, roads fanning out toward villages, and field boundaries stretching to the horizon. It is a modest, honest subject. For people who grew up here, the pattern of its streets is instantly recognisable.

Radiating roads
Roads leave the town in several directions across the flat plain. They link it to Lakhimpur and to the surrounding villages in long, straight lines.
Open farmland
Beyond the built-up edge, the map opens into cultivated fields. This gives the composition wide margins and a strong sense of the level Terai landscape.
